Tell us about yourself and your background
My name is Neo and I am very passionate about technology. I have an IT background and worked in the field for 13 years before I started focusing on photography, videography and LIVE streaming.

At what stage in your life did you decide to come into business?
I have always been business minded. I remember when I was young I would take pictures for
pocket money.

Even though I stopped this side business when I started high school, I never stopped thinking
about pursuing photography as a career.

Even when I had a full time job, I would offer videography and photography services for weddings
and events during the weekend. 13 years into my full-time job, I decided to leave the IT field and pursue photography and videography on a full time basis.

What sets your business apart from other businesses in your industry?
My skills set, both creative and technical, for example, if I arrive at a wedding and the sound is not working properly, I know how this will impact the final product. I am often able to assist in ensuring the sound is clear and crisp, so that final product is of a high quality.

Second, is my turnaround time. I do not like to sit on a project for a long time before I deliver it to
my clients.

What has been your driving force as an entrepreneur?
My wife. I have never seen a hard working woman of her age in my life. She is also supportive of my ventures and is the best critic I’ve ever had. Thinking of her makes me want to do better.

How did you come up with the name for your company?
Easy! ☺
My wife and I planned not to have children. So I decided to register a company using my names. This way, the name lives on and also becomes a brand.

How easy or difficult was it (the name)?
It was easy to come up with the name.

What kind of culture exists in your organization, and how did you establish it?
I always encourage my team to feel at home and develop their skills. This makes working fun as we are a family.

What does your business do? What products or services do you over?

My business is capturing memories to times indefinite.
We do this by offering the following services:

Photography
Videography
LIVE Streaming
Satellite Internet Service

How has being an entrepreneur affected your life?
It has taught me to think out of the box. Having a 9-5 job makes you settle and become
comfortable. An entrepreneur, does not have that opportunity. Waves change so you need to
think on your feet and be adaptable.

Would you change anything in terms of your journey in
business?
Yes! I would have loved to have started sooner than I did.

How do you manage the balance of being an entrepreneur?
I don’t know about managing. The pandemic has really changed our lives, and you find that different aspects of life morph into each other. But I try to find a balance in managing the business and other aspects of life. I also take things one day at a time. This had me rethink how I do things.

What motivates you every day?
My dearest wife. Man! She is the queen. Her confidence in me just makes me push and push all the time.

What is your vision in business?
My vision is to go international. I would love to showcase my work on an international stage.

What is your mission?
To provide our customers with high quality services to enjoy long after their event has passed.

What are your values in your business?
Integrity and competence.

How do you define success in business?
Although a big balance in the bank will be the goal, my success in the business is to have
satisfied clients. A happy client sells your business everywhere.

Do you believe that entrepreneurs are born or made and why?
Everyone is an entrepreneur. Some pursue it from day one. for others, it may take some time to
find it. We are created to be industrious. We are proud when we see our hard work pay off.

What is your favourite thing you like about being an entrepreneur?
Managing my own time.

What has been your greatest achievement in business?
Turning my name into a brand.
